About Sandra Morin

I am an ITIL Certified Change, Release and Problem Management expert. In addition, I have experience in Project Management and have completed the Project Management Certificate (7 PMBOK-based courses over 4 years) at Algonquin College in order to obtain my PMP designation. I have nearly 20 years experience working in an IT and Operations environment. My positions included Operations Analyst, Senior IT Analyst, Configuration Management Officer, Program Control Officer, IT Change, Release and Problem Manager, and Process Performance Specialist. These positions have provided me with a broad understanding and experience in IT and Operational processes. I love learning new things and better ways of doing things. Over the past few years I have been busy studying ITIL and Project Management. Learning these new skills has opened my eyes to improved methods and I have been fortunate to be able to put my new skills into action through my work. My positions as Change, Release and Problem Manager have been exciting as I was involved in the introduction and adoption of these new processes. Being the manager for these processes and guiding them to grow in maturity and acceptance in the organization was very rewarding.
