About Sandra Oliver

I launched Impact-Coaches Inc in 2003 with the objective to create an organization that helps people excel at work. Impact has grown to serve large multi-national corporate clients across the globe. My professional background includes 25+ years of experience coaching senior executives, including 17 years in Corporate HR leadership roles across North America. In my past senior HR roles, I successfully built and developed an experienced recruitment team, managed the creation and development of the full senior HR team, and oversaw the implementation of the HR intranet and HRIS system. I am an experienced business person and a certified coach who works strategically with Impact’s most senior clients and their teams. I also lead the most strategic talent programs and work with leaders and business units to develop effective succession plan strategies and evaluate future success. I hold a BA in Organizational Behaviour (University of Western Ontario), a Masters of Industrial Relations and Human Resources (University of Toronto), and an MBA (Ivey School of Business). I am an accredited coach and certified in various assessments (Team Management Profile, Hogan Inventory). I share my expertise by writing featured articles for CareerVision, the former CA Magazine and the Conference Board of Canada, and conducting Webinars for CPA Canada on career development. I am an official member of the Forbes Coaches Council since 2019, an invitation-only community for leading business coaches. I have also been honoured in the 15th annual PROFIT/Chatelaine ranking of Canada's Top Female Entrepreneur-run firms for 2013, 2014 and 2015. I was formerly involved as Chair of the Board and Honorary Board of Dress for Success Toronto. I was also a member of the judge panel for the 2018 International Coach Federation Toronto Chapter PRISM Award.
