About Sandra Parente

With both a depth and breadth of skills and experience across fashion design and production I have an exceptionally solid understanding of processes across the full spectrum from concept through to Tech Packs, design strategy and industry trends, Vendor negotiation and management, swatches to presentation and swing tags, global distributor relations to social media marketing – and I am passionate about every element. With exceptional organisation skills and a focus on cost and efficiency improvements, as Product Manager covering Design, Development and Production for True Alliance I have added value to the company through streamlined processes and through mentoring and building empowered teams. As Designer and manager of kids and teen wear label, Petit de Nimes, I established global brand recognition through engaging e-Commerce initiatives and selling through distributors in Europe, New Zealand, the US and within Australia. I have strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with Vendors in culturally diverse countries, securing best possible prices within my own business, in supporting multiple start-up companies as a design consultant, and for True Alliance. Though never holding the formal title of design manager, I have all the knowledge and capability and proven leadership and people management skills. I love being challenged across all areas of business and am excited about my future direction in the fashion industry.
