About Sandra Rasheed

As the Country Director at Anera, I oversee the strategic planning, program quality, and impact of the organization's humanitarian and development interventions in Palestine. With over 28 years of experience in the sector, I have a passion for empowering vulnerable communities, especially youth, women, and children, to achieve their potential and improve their well-being. I have extensive skills and knowledge in new business development, community development, fundraising, and public relations, as well as working with donors such as USAID, AusAID, EU, World Bank, and others. I have also successfully managed and implemented over 70 projects in conflict areas, demonstrating my ability to navigate complex and challenging contexts, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and deliver results. As a team player and a leader, I value mentoring and motivating others, as well as learning from their experiences and perspectives.
