About Sandra Sahin

I’m Sandra, Lead Artist and Illustrator who lives near Cologne. Since my childhood I love to draw and always had a huge passion for animated movies. That’s why my heart beats for illustration, 2D animation and especially character design. About myself, I am an humorous outgoing person who likes to joke around, but also I’m very critical when it comes to my work. I finished my degree "Bachelor of Arts" in August 2014. During my study at the FH Aachen, I had the chance to take a look at many different areas like photography, print media, layout, movie making and developing a campaign. I'm currently working as Lead Artist for Bright Future GmbH in Cologne. My project is Rail Nation, a multiplayer strategy browsergame with over 1 million players. In my 8 years on the Rail Nation team, I have helped design various scenarios, features and campaigns and guided them from concept to realization. My focus is on character design and UI design, creating visual concepts as well as game and marketing assets. Coordination with other departments such as UX and Marketing is also part of my job.
