WHAT I DO As a producer and storyteller, I develop content to boost your integrated marketing strategies through multiple distribution platforms. My focus is editorial still photography, product marketing video and still imagery, narrative short films, social media-optimized videos and commercial advertising spots. I’m able to manage all types and sizes of productions and excel in finding balance to keep it lean, efficient, and flexible — with minimal impact to the environment and others sharing the space. I’ll drive the process from the beginning or jump in and meet a team where they need support most. I excel at highlighting local voices — real people — to deepen connections between people, place, cultures, and shared experiences through beautifully-crafted visual storytelling. In all projects, I excel at delivering thoughtful and inclusive messaging through inspirational, in-depth, and diverse storytelling. Let’s work together. I’ll bring the snacks. HOW I DO IT The key to differentiated storytelling is cultivating strong relationships. Connecting brands to members in the community (not actors or models) opens the door to respect, care, trust and authenticity. In every project, I build strong relationships between the client, hired creatives and communities. Creativity does not exist without curiosity. I ask orienting questions and thrive on collaboration and honest feedback, with internal and external stakeholders, to find the right solutions for your organization. This is essential for creating work that remains true to a brand’s vision, mission, and goals. WHERE I'VE BEEN For the past 16 years I have been immersed in travel and outdoor photo and video production. The last 7 years were dedicated to leading award-winning content creation for the Utah Office of Tourism with a passionate focus on sharing stories of responsible tourism and brand campaign work. Additionally I have worked in-house for Black Diamond Equipment, Skiing Magazine, and Warren Miller Entertainment. Working in an industry of calculated risk has motivated me to broaden the message of being a well-prepared traveler and member of the community, and I am currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Salt Lake County Search and Rescue Organization.
