About Sandra Schadenbauer

Sandra is a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences FH JOANNEUM, where she works extensively within digital media technologies and educational methodologies. At FH JOANNEUM's Institute of "Wirtschaftsinformatik und Data Science," Sandra teaches subjects like digital asset production, while also advising on bachelor theses, internships, and project work. Additionally, she contributes to the Master’s program in "Digital Entrepreneurship" at the "International Management and Entrepreneurship" institute, teaching digital technologies as well as web technologies. Her expertise extends into server management and project-related website administration, making her an integral part of the "Digital Media Technologies" team. Sandra leads and collaborates on projects with a wide variety of clients, including museums, showrooms, and tech companies. Her dedication to accessibility shines through in her projects with organizations like the Styrian Deaf Association, making digital resources more available to people with special needs. Sandra's research interests cover an array of topics, including human-computer interaction, virtual and augmented reality, usability, accessibility, multimedia programming, and web design. These research areas ensure her involvement in cutting-edge developments in the digital media sphere, constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the intersection of technology and human interaction. In addition to her academic work, Sandra serves as a senior software developer for KIMUS Kindermuseum Graz GmbH, where she develops interactive exhibits for exhibitions. In her free time, Sandra is also a cohost of the Cloud Native Community Group Graz, where she manages event planning, pub quizzes, marketing, and promotion, contributing to the vibrant local tech community.
