About Sandra Steiger

I've been working in the field of Education since 2006, with particular interest in new approaches to teacher professional development, interdisciplinary learning and multilingualism. My strengths are in roles that create social impact and develop people and teams personally and professionally. I currently work in 2 areas: 1) designing recruitment guidelines and performance review processes to enable an international tutoring company ensure an exceptional quality of service and 2) teacher professional development, leading university professors through a process of Action Research to inspire data-driven innovation in their teaching practice. I have performed coordination roles including Service Learning Coordinator at the International School of Geneva and Course Coordinator of "Higher Education in Emergencies" Geneva University Summer School. I also had the wonderful opportunity to expand my skill set as Operations Manager in training at Beyond English - a B-Corp based in Santiago, Chile working to generate greater equal educational opportunity. My students and colleagues would say that my interpersonal skills are my great strength, and I certainly have a passion for connecting people and supporting individuals and groups achieve their goals. I can communicate confidently in English, French and Spanish, and can also perform basic functions in German.
