About Sandra Varney

Dr. Varney opened her first private dental practice in Reston in 1977, where she enjoyed providing top-quality service to her patients for over 25 years. During that time, she was named one of Virginia's top dentists and featured in Washingtonian magazine's "Top 100 Dentists in the Metropolitan Area"​ issue. Dr. Varney and her husband have raised two wonderful daughters and are the proud grandparents of six grandchildren of school age. After selling her Reston practice in 2002 and trying retirement for a few years, Dr. Varney realized her passion for dentistry had never subsided. With her husband's encouragement, she was excited to create a new dental practice in Leesburg that is geared toward sensitivity to patient care and satisfaction as well as educating the patient on the oral health options available specifically to them. Dr. Varney also has a heart for the community, and every year she participates in at least one charity event to help underprivileged children and adults get the oral hygiene they need. Whether it be donating toothbrushes and toothpaste to a Christmas gift drive, or traveling to Africa to provide dental care to impoverished villages, Dr. Varney has a passion for helping others.
