My teaching philosophy reflects my interests in developing a student’s individual potential. I prefer student-centered teaching that engages both students and teachers while utilizing current educational technologies. I like students to think about the class as a community. In keeping with this focus.I favor classroom dynamics that permit dialogue and foster a degree of student input as to curricula and grading criteria. In keeping with this emphasis, I also consistently emphasize the applicability of their learning to the outside world and their chosen career paths within it. My personal interests focus on female entrepreneurship through selling and marketing of vintage clothing and antiques through such business media as Etsy. Travelling, learning new languages and cultures are new areas of growth I wish to explore in the future.
