Sandro Trosso is currently the Managing Director at RECOMAQ Hi Tech and COREMAQ Hi Tech, industrial machinery distributor for leading global manufacturers, with local presence in Peru and Chile. Mr. Trosso is also a partner at MESETTA GROUP, a specialised merchant bank for small to medium mining projects in Peru and HARVEST CAPITAL SAC, an investment company. He previously served as CEO of GERPAL, a leading real estate developer and construction company in Peru and CEO of W Capital SAFI, a regulated investment fund manager, were he pioneered real estate development funds in Peru. Mr. Trosso also participated in the sucessful launching and implementation of the following funds directed to Latin America: Explorador.net, a $30 million VC technology fund; Velocitel LLC, a company controlled by Chicago based private equity fund manager Willis Stein & Partners LLP, to invest $75 million in wireless communications infrastructure; the $600 million debt and equity asset backed securities fund managed by Alsis Funds LLC; and the $150 million Latin America Private Equity Fund managed by The Rohatyn Group. Mr. Trosso served as the Director of Business Development and Strategic Planning for Belcorp, a Latin American multinational with $1.5 billion in revenues, as advisor to the Peruvian Investment Promotion Agency and Mexico´s INFONAVIT in its MBS pilot programme. Mr. Trosso is also a Director at Nature Services Peru, a leading carbon compensation consultant working with communities in the Amazon forest.
