About Sandy Botros

As a Writing Center Administrator and an Organic Chemistry Instructor at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, I manage, supervise, and support tutors and tutees on site and online, create daily tutoring schedules, handle questions and problems, and teach organic chemistry courses to Odasis students as well as introductory courses to first generation and international students. I have developed and implemented lesson plans, assignments, quizzes, and exams, and have kept track of attendance and grades, with the help of my supervisors and colleagues. I have also attended weekly faculty meetings with the course coordinator and instructors, and have contributed to the improvement of the tutoring and teaching quality and outcomes. I am passionate about pursuing a career in the healthcare and clinical research field, and I am currently enrolled in the Master of Public Health program at Rasmussen University, with a focus on epidemiology. I have previously completed a BS/MHA (Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management and Master of Healthcare Administration) degrees from the same university, and I have a BA degree in Cellular Biology and Neuroscience from Rutgers University–New Brunswick. I have also obtained multiple certifications, such as Certified Pharmacy Technician, First Aid/CPR/AED, and Covid-19 Contact Tracing, to enhance my skills and knowledge in the healthcare sector. I am motivated by the opportunity to gain a broader understanding and contribution to the healthcare system and the clinical trials research field, and I am interested in completing the dual degree program offered by the school of Pharmacy and Robert Wood Johnson Medical School to receive both a Doctorate of Pharmacy and a Doctorate of Medicine degrees.
