About Sandy Brunner

Architecture is my profession and vocation and I am also passionate art lover. My curiosity made me travel and discover the world and after leaving my hometown Zürich and spending some time living in New Mexico, Lausanne and New York I landed in 2001 in Barcelona. Some of my friends say I am empathic and a great networker with excellent aesthetic taste. I am someone who cares deeply about others and values meaningful connections. I'm driven to succeed in my endeavors, but also find true joy in the simple pleasures of life. As I am a very curious person, I am getting involved with new things all the time, dig in, learn about new topics with curiosity and then communicate them with enthusiasm. I love to share my expertise. As an architect I have always been concerned about the well-being of people in the space they live and work in, be it exterior or interior, the private home, office or the public space. The light, colours, materials and proportions of our environment have a direct impact on our physical comfort and health. Currently I am researching deeper into neuroarchitecture, searching for sustainability in terms of resource-efficiency, respect to the environment, the society and beauty in the private and public space.
