Manage all issues/concerns relative to HR Administration, Employee Relations, Policy, and Benefits. • Travels between and manages two plants • Work with management to address personnel matters such as annual evaluations, discipline, and termination. • Responsible for education and training of direct support staff to ensure their knowledge. • Create and implement morale/team building programs and events. • Plans and conducts staff and management development training programs, including conducting needs assessment, preparation of program objectives, develops course materials and training aids and delivers. • Develop and implement plant safety incentive programs. • Conduct plant safety audits • Keep up-to-date employment records and files. • Communicate and develop new policies and procedures. • Investigates discrimination complaints and assists in the resolution of employee grievances. • Administers pay system and programs. • Screen and interview potential employee candidates • Practices and adhere to our “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement. • Work with PeopleSoft, Imaginera, Word, Excel, and Power Point. Corporate projects include but not limited to; New Hire Orientation, Safety Incentive Plans, HR & Safety Roundtables and Power Point Presentation.
