About Sandy Casillas

I have worked my way up from a retail paint associate to a Pro Desk Sales Associate in my early twenties. Now I am part of a retail management company where I started off in a Dispatcher/ Administrative Assistant role for the Facilities team. There I helped manage a team of 8 maintenance technicians to schedule and execute repairs at 20 plus retails and 5 distribution facilities. Six months later, I was recognized by construction management and I was offered a position as Purchasing Assistant Manager where I assisted with procurement for new retail projects. As I am flexible and welcome change, I was able to take on the role of Construction Office Manager when roles within the company were redistributed. Now I have assisted with managing a team of 5 employees, and I have assisted in the construction of 10 new retail grand openings. My current role has allowed me to learn many aspects in the new construction process such as managing several vendors and working with city officials to attain permits, pass inspections and acquire certificates of occupancy. I look forward in gaining more experience in the field of construction office operations.
