I'm a fourth-year undergraduate student at Northeastern University, pursuing a career in Environmental Engineering research. As an Environmental Engineering major, I'm specifically interested in remedial environmental engineering, particularly those that utilize bio-remediation technology. That being said, I've pursued an Undergraduate Research position regarding wetland filtration of contaminated water. I've conducted research studying the kinematics of biological nutrient removal from wastewater. I've grown to appreciate the potential of bioremediation in the environmental engineering field. And now I'd like to put that experience to good use, by undoing decades of mismanaged waste and restoring polluted sites to their natural states.
