About Sandy Hensley

I’m a wife, a proud mom of two amazing girls, and a passionate advocate for the Down syndrome community. Being a Down syndrome mom has opened my heart and my perspective in ways I never could’ve imagined — it’s taught me patience, strength, unconditional love, and the power of advocacy. I fight every day to create a world that sees value in every life and gives all children the respect and opportunities they deserve. Family is everything to me. They’re my why — the reason I work hard, push through challenges, and keep striving to build a meaningful life. Whether I’m behind the wheel making deliveries or speaking up for inclusion and awareness, I bring the same love, determination, and commitment to everything I do. My journey hasn’t been perfect, but it’s real — and it’s made me stronger, more compassionate, and ready for whatever comes next.
