I am 53 years old and live in Fayette, Alabama. Education is my passion. I love learning new strategies to make a school system better. I am a life long learner and enjoy meeting new people. I am recently retired after 29 years in education and work part time for the Alabama State Department of Education and part time as consultant for Tuscaloosa City Schools. Additionally, I teach adjunct for Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN. I am a 2016 credentialed Certified Instructional Leader through the Council of Leaders in Alabama Schools (CLAS). Additionally, I am a Class of 2008 graduate of the Superintendent's Academy through the University of Alabama and was blessed with being selected as a 2013 State of Alabama Federal Programs Directors Leadership Award. In addition, I serve on the Board of Trustees for Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN and serve as adjunct professor in the School of Education at TNU. I love spending my spare time with my husband, Tim, my two stepsons, and my two nephews and my niece as well as serving in my church. God has truly blessed me.
