I wear many leadership hats at Bristol Community College. As an ally and professional in the ASL workforce, Program Co-Coordinator of Deaf Studies is my main focus. In addition, I am a nationally certified interpreter working freelance and contracted with both the state of Mass and Deaf Services Unlimiited. I have also worked in VRS for over 15 years. I am also contracted as an evaluator by the state of Mass in both the state level QA interpreter screening and the SLPI (teacher of the Deaf) programs. My heart lies with Deaf children in Deaf education of which I was initially trained. I have security clearance within the military for interpreting purposes. For 2025-26, I am again the chair of the World Languages Dept, Chair of the Learning Council and webmaster for (local chapter of Most recently, I also coordinator the college's Credit for Prior Learning in my role as fellow. It's an exciting area to be a part of an a true opportunity towards systemic equity in a CC.
