About Sandy Ullrich

I am a strong advocate for people and communities and their right to participate in lifelong learning, to access meaningful information in safe and inclusive environments, and enjoy quality of live through engaging in meaningful activities. I am particularly interested in supporting people to live their best possible autonomous and independent lives. I have designed and delivered many contemporary and popular educational and recreational programs and I am very versatile in tailoring events and programs to contemporary social trends and to diverse communities and age groups. I am currently undertaking a Diploma in Creative Arts and Health at the University of Tasmania. My background includes hospitality, nursing (residential aged care, disability and acute care), tertiary, vocational and community education, research and the primary industries. I hold the following qualifications: Graduate Diploma in Information and Library Management, Bachelor Degree in Nursing, Graduate Diploma of Nursing Science (Gerontology), Bachelor of Applied Science - Honours (Specialisation) and PhD (Action Research and Systems Thinking).
