About Sanil Dev

I am a Duty Manager at Dusit Hotel and Suites Doha where I oversee the daily operations of the hotel and ensure the highest standards of guest satisfaction and service quality. With the help of a team of 15 staff members I collaborate with other departments to resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally. I also monitor and report on the hotel's performance revenue and occupancy and implement strategies to improve them. I have a strong background in the hospitality industry with over five years of experience in various roles and settings. I started my career as a Rooms Controller at The Ritz-Carlton Doha where I managed the room inventory and allocation and coordinated with the front office and housekeeping teams. I then moved to Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas where I was promoted to Night Supervisor and acted as a Night Manager supervising the night shift operations and handling emergency situations. I hold a BSc degree and a Diploma in Hotel Management from Munnar Catering College where I learned the fundamentals and best practices of the hospitality sector. I am passionate about delivering exceptional experiences to guests and enhancing the reputation and performance of the hotel. I have developed core competencies in duty management communication team motivation smart working self-learning creative problem solving and strategic thinking. I am always eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges.
