About Sanisha Packirisamy

As an economist with more than 15 years of experience in the investments industry, I have seen the markets rise, fall, shift and shape through countless global and national events. Through this experience, I have developed an ability to turn evolving global and local macroeconomic trends into economic insights and assess their impact on financial markets for a range of internal and external stakeholders. It all began in 2008, when I became an Economic Analyst at RMB Asset Management. From there, I stepped up my career as an Economist at Momentum Asset Management. Some years later and I am currently employed in the Research and Insights team at Momentum Investments, where we turn raw economic data into investment insight. With an Honour's degree in Finance from the University of Cape Town, and as a certified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), I know my way around financial markets.
