Professional experience: A Chemical Engineer (BSC Tech) with about 29 years of experience in Indian & Overseas (Kuwait/Nigeria) Crude Oil Refineries. Involved in Project, Commissioning, Start Up and Stable Operation of Hydrocracker and Hydrotreater Units. Involved in project stage, pre-commissioning & commissioning of two no. of Hydrocracker Units in KNPC (Kuwait) MAB Refinery CFP Project. Currently involved in Al Zour Refinery (KIPIC) Kuwait for commissioning of Diesel Hydrotreaters (3 Nos.)/Kero Hydrotreaters (2 Nos.)/Naphtha Hydrotreaters (2 Nos.(Total 7 Nos. of Hydrotreaters). Carried out Solomon Benchmarking & Shell Energy Audit also operated energy related software like Pro-steam for steam management & Pinch Software for energy optimization provided by KBC (Singapore). Worked with: Brunel (Client- Al Zour Refinery (KIPIC), Kuwait) from Sept’2021 onward to till date (Demobilization Date- 15th Sept’23) SPIE Oil & Gas Services, Kuwait (Client-KNPC) from Jan’2018 to August’2021. RIL (Reliance Industries Ltd), Jamnagar (Gujarat) for 9 yrs, NRL (Numaligarh Refinery Limited) Assam for 7 yrs MRPL (Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Limited) for 5 yrs. Overseas Project: • 1 week visit to Suncor Refinery, Canada for Coker Naphtha Hydrotreater Unit with UOP. • 2 days’ workshop in Singapore for Solomon Benchmarking Study for the Refinery. • 2 months deputation to Bechtel, London for Dynamic Simulation Analysis on Integration of Syngas, Hydrogen, Sat Gas, Unsat Gas, Fuel Gas & Steam system in Operation Support. Management level: Operations Specialist Tasks- Presently involved in Project/Pre-commissioning/Commissioning/Start Up activities of Diesel/Kero/Naphtha Hydrotreaters as a Operations Specialist- Tracking & Supervising all Mechanical Completion, Pre-Commissioning activities, PSSR activities along with Documentation & training operating personnel- Presently commissioning of all Hydrotreaters under progress (6 Units commissioned)- Involved in Heater dryout/Mechanical Run Test of Pump & Compressors/Turbine Solo Run/PSSR Punch Closure/Checking the readiness of System for system handover from EPC Contractor as well as assistance with Company assistance & Start Up - Development of Start Up Plan - Review & Approve of Commissioning Procedures- Review & Approve of Standard Operating Procedure/Emergency Handling Cards - Involved in PGTR of commissioned Units- Providing Guidance for Start Up/Shutdown/Emergency Handling.
