I am a Chartered Accountant with 20+ years of experience in finance and accounting. As a finance professional I possess deep domain experience of working with large and small multi-national companies including over 10 years working in manufacturing FMCG companies and 13 years working in the IT/ BPO and off-shoring product and services organizations. I have been a senior executive with extensive P&L background in rapidly evolving service industries and high-tech global markets. During my career I have been successful in devising and implementing strategies involving: •Restructuring •Cost containment •Margin improvement •Strategic planning and Forecasting •International team-building •Design and preparation and presentation of Financial Reports My assignments have been with prestigious multi-national organizations like Affinity Express Inc. USA - worked as Global CFO. A decade long association with Aptara Inc.(formerly known as Techbooks) as the Head of Business Operations in India. Also worked in large manufacturing organizations Pharmacia & Upjohn India Pvt. Ltd, Godfrey Phillips India Ltd, Gujarat Heavy Chemicals Ltd, and Enexco Consultants Pvt. Ltd. and consulting organization PriceWaterhouse Coopers,in incremental capacities in the finance and accounting and audit departments. I have hands-on experience in the areas of Strategic planning, budgeting (Revenue & Capex), Financial Analysis and Reporting, Banking and Treasury operations involving Forex hedging and working capital management. Directly involved in business plan formulations, establishing and implementing Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), SOX programs, strategic financial planning and accounting and preparation of financial statements as per India GAAP, USGAAP and IFRS, debt fund raising, devising global tax strategies and corporate and legal compliance of entities located in India, US, Philippines, Australia etc. and have handled both pre and post M&A support successfully.
