About Sanjay Dey

I did my post-graduation and Doctorate in Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dibrugarh University. I have research experience in industry through my fruitful association with Dabur Pharma Ltd. and Cipla Ltd. for three and half years. My domain of research therein included product development, scale-up, and technology transfer, both for domestic and international markets. I joined Bengal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research as Assistant Professor in the year 2011. My current interest lies in “Nanotechnology products for brain delivery. Controlled release formulations, targeted drug delivery specially for brain and colon”. Besides, I am also working on isolation of natural polymers for formulation development of pharmaceutical products. I am working in the area of Nanomedicine for the last three years and have published a number of research papers in peer reviewed journals. I published more than 30 research and review papers and attended many national and international conferences for research papers. I guided 5 M. Pharm students. I published book chapter on “Model for risk assessment of nanoparticles” published in “Biointeractions of nanomaterials” edited by Vijaykumar B. Sutariya and YashvantPathak, Taylor and Francis, CRC Press 2014, 383-424.
