A technical expert with proven track record in general insurance. Rich experience on getting deliverables for Banker Indemnity claims through sound technical knowledge and good rapport with all surveyors and private as well as PSU insurers. Started journey from a small village in middle class family and developed overall skill sets. After having worked for a short stint of one year with Govt. of Maharashtra in gazetteer officer capacity spent around 6 yrs with Indian Army as a Capt and disciplined soldier in remote areas which helped me in developing administrative and technical excellence. Done Fellowship in Insurance field in early years of joining the industry to help in personal growth as well as to make use of the expertise obtained for the betterment of industry for last 33 years. Focussed, result oriented, innovative and ready to experiment for getting positive results. My technical and insurance qualification has helped in building good risk management strategies which could be adopted for overall improvement. Customer focussed approach has always helped in taking right decisions keeping customer interest at the top while also taking care of costs and policy limitations in mind. Maintained transparency and judicious settlement as basic approach towards claim settlement. Innovative and digital solution oriented approach for overall improvement of claims of motor, health, commercial LOBs and Life claims. Down to earth individual who has worked in all capacities and developed skill sets on all LOB claims from micro insurance, cattle to aircraft. Changed the look out of the industry to look at third party claims which was bleeding the industry and set new milestones which is helping in controlling loss ratios for the industry as a whole. Has good exposure to underwriting, operations and all other related general insurance functions. Strong analytical, problem solving & organisational abilities, flexible and detail oriented approach has helped in outperforming in the industry.
