A Mechanical Engineering Graduate from SV NIT – SURAT Gujarat, employed with Oil India Limited (OIL), India’s Second largest National Oil company - since 1988. With over 32 years of experience in Oil and gas business (i) 20 years in midstream segment, involving construction, operation, maintenance of cross country hydrocarbon pipelines, Pipeline business development, projects etc and (ii) over 12 years in International Business development, involving acquisition of Oil and Gas assets, Corporate acquisitions, Mergers etc, including management of Assets Internationally. I am involved with all the activities of International business development in Upstream Oil and Gas space and along the hydrocarbon value chain. Coordinated activities of asset acquisition of several proposals/opportunities from end to end with size ranging from several millions to several billions US dollars. I am presently Asset Manager from OIL in prestigious fully integrated multibillion dollar LNG Mozambique project. As a Asset Manager, I am handling and providing leadership in five (5) critical functionalities of Mega Integrated LNG Project Development, which includes (i) Commercial & Legal framework (ii) Capital projects development (Onshore / Marketing & Shipping of LNG,(iv) Project Debt Financing and (v) Development of unitized reservoir. Apart from core E&P field experience in midstream, I gained exposure and experience in following specialized area of Project Development: Project Finance : Have handled project finance and security documents right from the development stage of Term sheet till finalization and signing off on all finance documents to secure debt commitment from Sr.Lenders in the order of USD 15 Billion Dollar. Commercial structuring of Transaction Onshore / Offshore Capital project developments. Conversant with Petroleum Project economics and Risk analysis. Marketing : Experience and worked on long term LNG sales & purchase agreement and closed contract with credible buyers for a material volume of 11 MMTPA. Shipping : Experience in Time charter party contract, Ship building contract. Demand supply strategy.etc. Contracts : Exposure of LNG EPC contracts, Commercial Structuring, International Project Financing, Unitization and Contract negotiations. Government Liaison, Networking, Acquisition process, Evaluation of up stream E&P opportunities, involvement in evaluation and participation in opportunities in Midstream and downstream hydrocarbon sectors.
