Founder of a Hospitality Startup in the Vacation Rental Industry. We are reimagining the vacation rental industry from the ground up and our ambition is to build an iconic hospitality brand and a great place for professionals to build a career in. Investment banker with over three decades of experience in corporate and project finance, M&A, private equity and capital markets (both equity & debt). Actively engaged in startup ecosystem since 2020 as an angel investor (Airmeet, CareerLabs, Datakrew, Kutumb, Klub, KarmaLife.ai, Wify, Anveshan Farms) and as an advisor and a mentor assisting founders in business & financial strategy as well in fund-raising (concluded Series A round of USD 15 mn for Sukoon Healthcare - a bootstrapped therapeutic behavioural health platform, from Lightrock India in Q4 CY2022) Set up and lead managed infrastructure advisory practice at kotak Investment Banking for seven years before moving on in 2014 to create a boutique investment banking platform for providing high quality M&A, fund-raise and project advisory services to top-tier Indian and overseas corporate clients primarily in the infrastructure and realty space by highly specialized professionals with deep domain advisory and investment banking expertise across sectors. Have extensive market reach and relationships – both sell-side & buy-side, and considerable deal origination and execution experience across sectors and products Have also been actively involved in policy advocacy related to infrastructure sectors in India and have served as a member on CII’s National Task Force on Infrastructure Projects - Monitoring and Advocacy, FICCI’s National Committee on Infrastructure, Equity Group of the High Level Finance Committee on Infrastructure under the chairmanship of Mr Deepak Parekh, CII’s National Committee on Transport Infrastructure, Core Group on Roads and Highways and Indo-UK Core Group on in Infrastructure
