About Sanjeev Bakshi

I am a Mechanical Engineer with over 20 years of combined experience in the medical device and precision machining industries. I bring a strong foundation in metrology, quality systems, and manufacturing processes, complemented by 5 years of hands-on involvement in new product development—leading to the successful launch and patenting of two innovative medical devices.In my most recent roles, I supported Hydrogen Fuel Cell Manufacturing Industry, Vision Care, Surgical, and Pharmaceutical business units as a Metrology Engineer, where I designed, developed, and validated complex measurement systems and custom fixtures. Prior to this, I spent a decade in the machining industry in various quality engineering roles, gaining deep knowledge in metals, sheet metal fabrication, machining processes, and precision measurements.I am a hands-on problem solver with a passion for troubleshooting and innovation. I have mastered and implemented three distinct CMM programming languages and led the adoption of vision-based measurement systems, both as a user and trainer. My leadership style is collaborative and mentorship-driven—I take pride in building strong, capable teams.Technically, I’m highly proficient with tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Minitab, SPC, FMEA, GD & T, Tolerance Analysis, and measurement system analysis tools like MSAs and GR & Rs.
