Establishing the Regional Office in Mumbai for Vimta Labs Ltd. As an entrepreneur- setting up a company manufacturing equipment for molecular biology research instrument. Strengths in Technical and Concept sales : Selling molecular biology research enzymes “manufactured for the first time in India”, in early 90s was a good exposure to concept sales. Strong technical background helped in dramatically growing the instrument and consumable sale for Applied Biosystems during my assignment in Labindia and later in Invitrogen (part of Lifetechnologies). Selling high-end cutting edge equipment gave good experience in handling technical sale. An exposure in developing a project for Analytical Testing Lab, during my assignment in Core Healthcare, which later established a JV with Quintiles, built a good project development capability. Good Experience in leading Regional and National Teams in delivering the revenue growth year over year.
