About Sanjeev Misra

I love food, tech, personal finance, and learning new things but let me give some details. I was born an Albino which is a genetic disorder with a lack of pigment, the benefit is that I look like a foreigner which helps a lot on some occasions (LOL), but the disadvantage is that I can’t see quite well. I always had a lot of interest in computers so I did a Master's in IT from DA-IICT, which got me a job in Reliance Communications. The advantage of a job in reliance was multiple rotations in jobs from Technical Operations to Quality analysis to Release team to some time in development. I enjoyed every moment of it and learned a lot of things. Although I was from a tech background, I wanted to learn new things related to other aspects of the company so did my MBA from IIM Lucknow in 2011. Like most of us, this was one of the best times of my life and a place to learn lots of new things. I loved every moment of those two years After IIM Lucknow I joined Comvia as a product manager. While managing a set account, I had a unique opportunity that allowed me to manage multiple products in multiple accounts and multiple geographies. I don’t think a lot of product managers get access to such a diverse environment due to so many accounts as well as products in so many different locations. Product management gives me unique access to all kinds of products • Backend products such as Recommendation Engine, Subscription Manager, etc • Digital products such as apps and websites • Offline interfaces such as USSD or OBD or SMS • Ad Engine and Advertising ecosystem I have a passion for learning new things from writing to designing things on Canva or working on new ideas.
