Executing all day-to-day accounting functions, including all defined internal reporting, closes, budget to actual reporting, accounts receivable, purchasing, accounts payable, payroll, general ledger and fixed asset maintenance. • Ensuring internal financial statements are prepared in a timely and accurate manner. • Fund raising for working capital purposes and arrangement of term loans from Banks/FIs; Venture Capital Funding; ECB funding. • Arranging Bank Guarantees & LC’s. • Project Financing, Evaluation and Analysis. • Capital Budgeting. • Preparation of forecasts & budgets and their modifications. • Ensuring full compliance with all Group policies and practices and assure that all required MIS reporting is provided accurately and on-time. • Ensuring full compliance with all government and other regulatory agencies' policies and assure that all required reporting, including taxes, is provided accurately and on-time (income tax on salaries, tax deduction at source on various payments, service tax, etc.). • Income Tax, Sales Tax/VAT, Central Excise, Service Tax & Customs Law Matters. • All Statutory Compliances & Company Law matters. • Liaisoning with Govt.Authorities. • Attending Income Tax, Sales Tax/VAT and Service Tax cases before authorities up to final assessment stage. • Ensuring appropriate financial policies / procedures are defined, documented, implemented and followed. • Maintaining relationship with outside service providers, including banks, etc. • Coordinating & interacting with external auditors Ensuring implementation of internal auditor’s suggestions effectively and in a timely manner. • Compliance of all applicable Accounting Standards. • Monitoring and managing cash flow. • Preparation of annual financial report and other reports required by senior management and external agencies.
