Previously, I was associated with Wellcove by CHCS Services (a Capgemini demerger) for a year, wherein I had a proven track record for handling claims and appeals cases primarily related to Accident, Hospital Indemnity and Short-Term Disability including Pregnancy for Aflac Inc.(American Family Life Assurance Company of Columbus). Regarding my early education, I've secured 95% in High School and 80% in Senior Secondary Examination. In 2023, I graduated with a First Division degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Amity University, Noida Campus with specialization in Regulatory Affairs. While at Amity, I successfully completed two in-house guided review articles in psychopharmacology; one on 'Role of Maresins in Brain Disorders' & other on 'Advancements in the Management of Insomnia in Adults’. Apart from these, I also worked on an independent review project titled 'Determination of Sex in Forensic Anthropology.' Professionally, I’m in Healthcare Ops where I handle various claims and appeals scenarios, analyse policy verbiage and review payable benefits. Besides, I work on drafting rebuttals, queries and managing escalations. I possess decent familiarity with medical & pharmaceutical terminologies plus abbreviations. In addition, I can decipher physician's notes, operative & pathology reports, drug prescriptions, admission discharge summaries, ICD 10, CPT, HCPCS coding, UB-04, HCFA-1500, EOBs and many more.
