Looking back on my 20+ years of experience, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities and challenges that have shaped my career. My journey began as a Chartered Accountant, where I offered financial advice that helps clients make informed decisions. My time as Finance Head at a Real Estate Company in Bangalore laid a strong foundation for the rest of my career, as I honed my financial management skills and developed a deep understanding of the business world. My career then took me to Abidjan, Ivory Coast where I assumed the role of Finance Head in an Agri Commodity company. This role gave me insight to the unique challenges and opportunities of the Agri sector, further strengthening my strategic financial leadership. Continuing my journey, I joined Olam Agri, a renowned food, feed, and fiber company, as Finance Controller for Senegal and Cameroon. This role immersed me in the dynamic world of agribusiness, where I successfully managed financial operations. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working in various African countries, including Ivory Coast, Senegal, and Cameroon. These experiences have deepened my understanding of diverse cultures and blessed me with a global perspective on business dynamics. I have also made it a point to keep learning along the way by completing courses in areas such as: Leading through Operational Excellence, communicating through Impact, Effective Decision Making, Implementing Decision Making, and Selling through Customer Centricity Experience. These courses have equipped me to lead with vision and inspire innovation within my teams. In the past six years, I have directed Profit & Business Development, a role that has allowed me to channel my passion into making a real difference. Currently, I am responsible for a broad spectrum of departments—HR, Finance, Legal, Safety, Environment, Sales, MIS, Production, and Maintenance. This multifaceted role has sharpened my skills in strategic decision-making and operational excellence, as I work closely with cross-functional teams to drive success across the organization. I believe that creating a supportive environment that empowers teams and puts the customer at the heart of everything we do is key to success. My commitment to operational excellence, my willingness to learn at all times, and my drive to embrace new challenges continue to push me to explore innovative strategies and seek out opportunities for growth.
