About Sara Abbas

Living overseas has influenced my skills and experiences making me adapt to change quickly and to become a results-oriented leader. Working in various fields and dealing with diverse individuals, and being a minority myself, has helped me develop communication, adaptability, as well as, empathy skills. I speak 3 languages. J'ai grandi à Montréal donc l'une des langues que je parle est le français. I love organizing and prioritizing tasks, managing projects and following up on progress therefore, I pay a lot of attention to communication and detail. I am able to coach and direct teams to carry out projects, following Health Canada regulations, at my current part-time position as a Quality Assurance Specialist at PTM OneSource. I am also a full-time Bilingual Data Researcher, at the same company, in which the healthcare database is maintained for marketing and communication purposes, via fax, mail and email. I was an ESL teacher when I lived overseas. I have acquired patience and various training presentations towards the staff. Problem solving skills were really tested when I worked in various customer service positions. Independently resolving conflicts and making decisions using the available resources, resulted in customer retention. Expertise: Bilingual, quality control, multitask, organized, customer service, leadership, strong communication skills, motivated, dedicated and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
