Work Experience: General: • I am a litigation specialist with experience in civil, commercial and criminal law. After graduating from the University of Khartoum with an LL.B. in 2006, I obtained my practicing certificate from the Sudanese Legal Association in 2007. • After I admitted by the Advocate Admission Committee, I practiced in Sudan for 4 years, specializing in civil and commercial litigation and then has continued my career in UAE since 2013. • I have been handling major litigation issues and providing legal advises and consultation for various clients including prominent companies and banks including, Khartoum Bank, Alsalam Bank and Alsalam Rotana Hotel.(1) Advocate: AL Wifaq Law Firm –Abu Dhabi- UAE December 2013 up now My areas of practice are litigation and legal advising with particular expertise in disputes related to banking and contracts related issues, I have been involved in the following practice- Litigation: • Having a very good experience in the UAE federal/local laws as I have continued my career in UAE as a commercial lawyer when joining Alwifaq law firm in 2013, In the firm I am responsible for litigation and consultation matters in addition to drafting contracts and agreements. • Handling litigation to most of UAE Banks on various branches of the UAE Laws, which include, but not limited to UAE Commercial Transactions Law, Civil Code, Civil Procedures Law, Banking Laws, Administrative Laws, land laws, Municipal Laws & regulations, Commercial laws especially Commercial Agencies, Franchises, Companies, Partnership, Labor, Contracts, Real Estate, Land Law, Mortgages, Insurance, Maritime, Trademarks Laws, Sharia Law, Aviation, Banking, Bankruptcy, Foreign Investment, Transfer of Technology, Protection of Intellectual Property, Arbitration, and Foreign Exchange Laws.
