About Sara Anttila

I’m a Sustainability Manager at Kotipizza Group, where I lead and develop our sustainability strategy in close collaboration with the business. Over the past five years, I’ve been deeply involved in advancing our climate work from product-level carbon footprinting and emissions data development to creating the roadmap toward carbon-neutral food products and now steering our efforts towards net zero. Currently, I lead a strategic, cross-organisational initiative on climate action and contribute actively to sustainability reporting and ESG collaboration with our international parent company. My role bridges strategy and execution, people and data, vision and communication, with a strong focus on embedding sustainability as a cross-cutting, long-term lens across the organisation. My work spans the full breadth of sustainability from environmental responsibility and social impact to compliance and ethical business practices. I’ve played an active role in e.g. NGO and Universities collaborations and grassroots-level campaigns, helping integrate sustainability into daily operations and organisational culture. Internally, I work to build awareness, engagement and ownership across our teams and franchisee network. Externally, I regularly speak about our sustainability journey at events, webinars and schools, sharing both practical insights and inspiration. I’m passionate about sustainability because it enables positive change that is both measurable and meaningful. I believe real impact happens when sustainability becomes part of the culture, not just a department or a report. With a background in communications and over a decade of experience across food service, wholesale and supply chains, forestry, construction and event industries, I bring a broad and practical perspective to my work. I hold an M.Sc.(Econ.) in Strategy, Innovation and Sustainability, and continue to learn every day. I’m motivated by impact, purpose, collaboration, kindness and curious minds.
