About Sara Brown

I am currently self employed and owner of Discover Near & Far. Within this position I organise all stock (sourcing, ordering, pricing, merchandising etc), manage all accounts (payment, orders, stock taking etc), deal with all customers and orders, instore & online, visually merchandise the shop, clean the shop, manage all socials and website, arrange deliveries and anything else which is required of me. I am currently on a career break from Middletown Centre for Autism where I worked as a Digital Support Officer. Within this position I organised all social media content, created a digital marketing plan, assisted in the marketing material creation and development, managed the website, adding courses & events and assisted the ICT Officer. I completed a HLA in Digital Marketing in 2018 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Events Management with Leisure & Sports Management in 2009. I am a creative, energetic, healthy, hardworking, career orientated self-starter with a strong desire to succeed. I believe I possess excellent communication, interpersonal and administration skills, and I am someone who enjoys working as part of a team and can work equally well alone, using their own initiative. I have a passion for being creative and in my spare time I like to try out a new crafts and learn new skills.
