About Sara Bubb

Sara specialises in education consultancy, policy and programme evaluation, professional development, assessment, research and writing. As Associate Professor, Graduate Tutor and member of the SLT in the Department of Learning & Leadership, she oversees 112 doctoral students at the University College London Institute of Education, where she works part-time. She is also director of Sara Bubb Associates Ltd carrying out research and training educationalists in the UK and abroad on topics such as teacher education and induction; leadership and pedagogical skills; performance management; and school improvement. Convenor of the CPD network in the European Educational Research Association, she is also a Leadership Consultant for the British Council and leader of the Excite Primary Science programme. Her research has been extensive, including the induction of new teachers; professional development needs of heads; leadership development; school improvement; governance; and workload and wellbeing.
