About Sara Chebbo
Actually assistant professor in Environment at UVSQ after a Ph.D in Earth Science at Paris-Saclay University-CEA-Climate and Environment Laboratory. My research is focused on incorporating biodiversity in one of the most known Earth system model, the Orchidee model. The main objective is to understand the role of integrating biodiversity in the current context of extreme events, the change in Earth’s climate in the past and future scenarios and how ecosystems can be adapted. I mainly studied during my phD the productivity and its temporal stability during the past 60 years. At long term, the main goal is to improve the land surface model simulations and to inform policymakers to contribute effectively on climate mitigation and adaptation. I’m also a lecturer of Sustainable development, Environmental management, Bioeconomy at AgroParisTech for Master 1 Bioceb, Master 2 Clues and engineering cycle, M1 StePE, M2 arctic studies, bachelor in Life sciences at UVSQ.
