About Sara Clark

My name is Sara Clark. I am a full time College student in the Personal Support Worker program at Durham college and I would love to be a part of your team. I believe I would be an ideal candidate based on my academic performance, amazing communication skills, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. My passion is to provide excellent service and to demonstrate compassion in every task and with every client I care for. I thrive off my strong work ethic and keeping busy. I strive to ensure a quality experience is given for each individual client. I will be graduating in April of 2022. Some of my goals as a potential graduate are, maintaining honor roll, working on my time management skills, and gaining the experience and knowledge needed to become an outstanding PSW in the future. I have gained so much knowledge already and I am looking forward to putting my knowledge to the test in a practical environment. I plan to continue studying hard to achieve all my goals before I graduate and eventually getting a job in long-term care or a hospital setting.Some of my skills are, listening skills, empathy, and patience. I am always willing to lend an ear and listen to what residents and patients have to say. One of my very strong beliefs is putting myself in other people’s shoes and understanding what they are going through can help someone significantly if they are struggling to feel heard or understood. Patience is also one of my very great qualities, I strive to create an environment where patience is maintained throughout my practice. My accomplishments are that I maintained honor roll throughout high school, played competitive soccer for over 14 years and due to this, I am great at working with others in a team environment, and continue to put my best foot forward in every challenge I may face.
