I am a Senior Fraud Strategy Analyst with a passion for and experience in preventing and minimizing fraud activity. In my current role at Prime Trust, I query, analyze, and review activity alerts and new account openings to identify and mitigate fraud events. I collaborate with vendors to develop rules that prevent fraudulent transactions and account openings. Additionally, I act as a representative for the Fraud Operations team, partnering with the Compliance team to ensure fraud mitigation tools are in place during onboarding reviews for new clients. Prior to my current position, I worked as a Data Analyst at First Tech Federal Credit Union, where I provided in-depth data analysis and reporting to mitigate fraud loss. I was responsible for analyzing debit and credit card activity, monitoring rules performance, and working towards balancing false positive ratios. I also acted as a subject matter expert for various data and fraud prevention tools in the card fraud space. Furthermore, I served as a Card Fraud Specialist at First Tech FCU, where I investigated and prevented potential loss by analyzing debit and credit card activity. I conducted in-depth investigations, worked with fraud management vendors, and analyzed monthly fraud loss reporting to identify areas of improvement. Earlier in my career, I gained a love of fraud prevention and experience as a Risk Analyst at Fiserv EFT, where I assisted clients with the mitigation of card fraud. I acted as the main point of contact for multiple banks and credit unions, monitored debit and credit card activity, and provided reporting to illustrate return on investment and identify areas of improvement. Throughout my career, I have developed skills in data analysis, fraud prevention, fraud detection, and fraud investigations. I am proficient in various data analysis tools such as Looker, Microsoft Excel, and SQL. With my strong analytical abilities and expertise in fraud prevention, I am dedicated to effectively mitigating fraud.
