Currently employed with Method Media Intelligence in the Ad Tech world, where I am a Project Manager. I'm enjoying growing and thriving each day while setting, managing, and reaching our goals. Previously employed with Walmart for 7 years, where I managed the 2nd largest toy department in the market. I helped to implement new techniques in the department to minimize loss and theft. I managed a team of 3 associates and worked closely with 5 other departments on the General merchandise side of the store. I worked closely with ordering vendor assemblers to meet customer needs as well as store building needs. I helped set goals and expectations for my team while also providing them with the tools needed to achieve those goals and reach said expectations. I also helped my associates to achieve their own goals whether it be moving up in the company or being more efficient and successful in their current roles. I directly oversaw the merchandise ordering and well as the inventory tracking. I was directly responsible for bringing in feature items during key events to help fit the customers needs and spending habits. I conducted backroom audits and was responsible for the 5 week bin reports as well as price changes and salesfloor audits. I was responsible for the inventory prep work for my department as well as managing freight flow during the summer fun rush, back to school and both Black Friday and Christmas. Strengths People Skills: I am a people person and a strong leader. I enjoy working with a team and others, but I also can hold my own in leading a conversation and directing a group. I find it very easy to talk to people and carry on conversations easily. I relate to others even in difficult situations. I am empathetic by nature. Enthusiasm: I am a very enthusiastic person. I take every challenge or event on with positivity and general excitement for life. Organizational Skills: I am great at keeping up with deadlines and daily goals. I am able to keep all of my information and tools readily available to me. Weaknesses: Fixer: I like to be the solution to problems or at least a part of the resolution. I am working on this by recognizing that some attitudes and scenarios are out of my control and all I can do is my very best and to know my limits. Perfectionist: I tend to focus on the details too much at times, and can get fixated when I feel I have not done enough. I am recognizing my limits and becoming more realistic with what is expected of me and what I should expect of myself.
