About Sara Daneu

Experienced Clinical Social Worker with skills in healthcare for both pediatric and adult populations. I currently serve children and their families who are undergoing liver and kidney transplant process. I assist with disease acceptance, crisis, and mental health support. I participate in the patient review committee with various specialties to assess patients needs and barriers to receiving a transplant. I Received my Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Central Florida in May of 2014. While there, I was the president Bachelors of Social Work Student Association as well as the state-elected representative for undergraduate students through the National Association of Social Workers (NASW)- Florida Chapter. Because of these positions, I have been gifted with skills in communication, volunteer organization, corporate communication for event sponsorship, event organization, and leadership. My educational focus while in school, was in crisis intervention as well as mental and behavioral health. I was given amazing opportunities to work with a various client base and see a variety of needs. My experiences range from substance abuse case management to crisis intervention for both the victim and the offender.
