About Sara E. Starc

A creative, compassionate Occupational Therapist dedicated to maximizing a human's functional potential and quality of life, while advancing a company's core missions and values. After graduating with my Master's in Occupational Therapy, I made a vow to consistently thrive on helping others, paying it forward, and going above and beyond to gain new skills to provide the most excellent care. Throughout my experience in various medical settings, I recognized a gap in this country’s health care services. I have been a key team player on many multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams, but discovered that there should be more of an emphasis on wellness, fitness and prevention in our communities through an integrated approach. This spawned my passion and excitement for holistic health, innovative rehab technology, and ongoing education in the areas of ortho, neuro, modalities, and IASTM therapies-including Graston Technique. With a growing understanding that sickness, wellness, and fitness reside on an entire continuum, I decided to obtain a certification in Personal Training to bridge the gap in my career between these domains. I'm proud to include fitness and wellness services in my scope of practice to support patients and fitness consumers alike in preventing and reversing chronic disease through positive changes in health behaviors no matter where on this continuum they lie.
