About Sara Eckersley

I am the Communications Lead for the Homerton Enhanced Health Visiting Service (EHVS) across City and Hackney. This has allowed me to find my true passion of designing engaging creative content for patients and professionals and developing and improving communications, whilst simultaneously strengthening and building relationships between services. In this role, I have developed a comprehensive communication plan for the EHVS. My role involves creating both staff-focused and patient/resident-facing communications, ensuring a clear and coordinated approach across internal and external stakeholders. My key responsibilities include contributing to and coordinating the communications plan, gathering and presenting feedback, designing and creating resources/internal newsletters and leading on communication channels. Additionally, I oversee the management of the EHVS webpage ensuring we have correct and informative information and easy to navigate. I have conducted patient focus groups and analysed the feedback and created an Instagram account for the service, I design all content on the page and manage and oversee the account, ensuring the content is up to date and with the latest service messages and key details. I am interested in stakeholder engagement and communications to educate and build relationships with key stakeholders.
