About Sara Gallimore

Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, I am a passionate young woman who thrives on challenges and embraces opportunities. In 2017, I moved to the United States alone to participate in the Au Pair in America exchange program. My goal was to achieve fluency in English while providing childcare for a wonderful American family. As a polyglot, I fluently speak Portuguese, Spanish, and English, and am currently enhancing my French. After my exchange program, I attended Kent State University, where I graduated cum laude with a degree in Fashion Merchandising in May 2023. I am furthering my education as an MBA candidate at Kent State, specializing in International Business, and I'm set to graduate in December 2024. Professionally, I am evolving within the Supply Chain America Organization at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. My first rotation was in the BPE Deployment Team, where I contributed to initiatives focused on optimizing customer service and reducing costs through strategic planning my second rotation was focusing on commercial demand planning and now I am currently on my third and last rotation in the consumer aggregate planning team. Here, I am committed to strategically planning new product launches to improve operational efficiency.
