Hello, I'm Sara Grossule, a 24-year-old with a bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics and a master's degree in Medical Bioinformatics from the University of Verona. My passion for exploration and my knack for leadership have shaped my academic and professional journey. I thrive in teamwork, leveraging my problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities to achieve common goals. With a strong desire to learn, I've cultivated a keen interest in bioinformatics and its applications in genetics and cancer biology. My academic journey began with programming languages, machine learning, and 3D modeling, the focus of my undergraduate thesis. Later, I delved into spatial transcriptomics, multi-omics, and single-cell sequencing, strengthening my career choice. My master's research at the Institute of Oncology Research in Switzerland allowed me to deepen my knowledge of CRISPR technology and contribute to an innovative tool for CRISPR data analysis, pushing the boundaries of genome editing and molecular biology. Collaborating with research groups like the Lymphoma Genomics and Bioinformatics Core Unit honed my teamwork skills. I believe I possess the qualities required to succeed in my professional journey, with motivation, determination, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities.
