The best thing about being a computer technician is the people! Being hands-on with technology has always been my ideal job, and I've been doing my favourite thing for over 5 years. In those years, I've found that while working with the technology is a lot of fun - the best feeling in the world is helping someone solve a problem! I've assisted in the rollout of hundreds of new devices in a project that expanded library access to thousands, closed countless internal trouble tickets to keep vital services up and running, and made so many great connections along the way! I had the golden opportunity to grow and learn in my previous position with Mid-Continent Public Library as part of their amazing IT team. I am now a CompTIA CSIS certified Service Desk Technician with Weatherby's Private Bank and I'm keen on continuing to grow my list of certifications and my skills in this wonderful and ever-evolving field. No problem is too small, no project is too big!
