Background
About Sara Jafari
I am an Urban Planner with an MBA and over a decade of experience in environmental project management, urban development, and sustainable economic growth. Currently, I lead green economy initiatives at Econext, including the Net-Zero Community Accelerator Program and Atlantic Canada’s Deep Retrofit Accelerator Project, focusing on climate change mitigation, GHG reduction, and green sustainable community development. With a strong background in policy analysis, municipal regulations, and renewable energy, I specialize in creating actionable strategies that bridge environmental sustainability and economic prosperity. My passion lies in helping communities transition to resilient, net-zero futures through innovation, collaboration, and sustainable solutions.
